A PLACE OF ENCOUNTERS

In the midst of forests, meadows and fields, my practice is located in an old manor house. I grew up in this powerful place and now return after more than 20 years. Already my grandmother, a warm-hearted and generous woman, hosted extended family, acquaintances and friends here countless times. People continue to feel warmly invited here, only more structured, psychologically based and goal-oriented is the encounter with oneself, others and nature.

Fundamental renovation and reconstruction work took place. An inviting practice room for therapy or coaching, two single rooms for overnight stay or body therapy, as well as a cozy kitchen with roof terrace and a bathroom have been created. The simple furnishing of the rooms was done individually. This created a mix of old pieces of furniture from my ancestors and new high-quality materials. For example, fabrics, cushions, antiques from the United Arab Emirates, Australia and New Zealand are integrated, which I brought back from living abroad. The overall idea is to make the impermanence, but also the appreciation of resources and craftsmanship visible. I wanted to integrate the "old" in the "new" in a pleasant and dignified way. A friendly and warm atmosphere permeates the entire practice area and invites you to be trustful and take a deep breath. The courtyard behind the barn offers an unobstructed view of the range, the horse paddock, woods and meadows. The courtyard behind the barn offers an unobstructed view of the grange, the horse paddock, woods and meadows. As far as the eye can see nature in numerous facets. Outside, an iron bowl for making fire and seating are ready to carry out interventions there as well, according to your wish. A simple but cosy garden shed provides shelter from the cold and rain.

Summer mornings

A rooster crows, a lawnmower rattles far away, here and there a hammer beat as sign of peaceful craftsmanship. Yet predominantly powerful silence, permeated by buzzing bees, chirping birds, rustling leaves of the poplar tree. A moment, someone sits wrapped in a gentle breeze in the shade of the limetree with a sharpened perception of all that is in that very moment.

Winter mornings

Light penetrates the warm rooms only with difficulty. The landscape is obscured by fog, shades of gray and green shimmer. A gap on the dark horizon, irregularly shaped, gradually flooded with orange sunlight. An encouraging sign from heaven. Outside, the air is fresh, banishing its way into the lungs. Breathing in, greeting the new, while the flying geese comfortably move on their way.
